Introducing the Month of Why
We’re taking this month to ask and answer all of life’s biggest questions, starting and ending with the ultimate question: why Gopuff?
Today. CNBC. Tech Crunch. If a story about goPuff has appeared in the media, chances are, Elizabeth Romaine is responsible. The director of communications and company spokesperson specializes in media relations for goPuff, which delivers snacks and drinks, alcohol (in select markets), beauty products and more to customers’ doors in minutes.
Elizabeth started her career working for the popular Philly alt-rock radio station Y100. When the beloved station went off the air, Rolling Stone magazine reached out to former employees for a story and ended up speaking to Elizabeth. This first interview with a major media outlet gave her a taste for media relations.
Elizabeth was able to hone her communications skills over the next decade during her director and vice president stints at Five Below and Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. In her current role, she helps goPuff liaise with media brands. She’s also an adjunct communications professor at Arcadia University and uses her communications skills as a Providence Animal Center volunteer (she’s a proud cat mom to two rescues).
