The Ultimate Ranking Of The Top 15 Easter Candies
Let’s settle the debate. Unwrap our rankings of the most popular Easter candies. Where does your favorite candy fall?
April 1, 2021
Candy: Oh, so sweet, and one of the best cross-holiday traditions. Valentine’s Day is known for chocolate; Christmas, for candy canes. And Easter—well, what isn’t Easter known for? From jelly beans and Peeps to Cadbury eggs, Easter might just be the sweetest holiday of them all.
But which Easter candy reigns supreme? At Gopuff, we love all of our treats equally, but we know you feel strongly about your favorite sweet. We put together this ranking of Easter candies but, if you want to taste test them for yourself, be our guest. We’ll even handle the Easter candy delivery for you.
15. Solid Chocolate Easter Bunny
Source: Brach’s
Coming in at the bottom of our list are solid chocolate bunnies. While it’s a sugary representation of an Easter icon—the Easter Bunny—we feel it lacks pizzazz. After all, it’s just a hunk of chocolate.
14. Jordan Almonds

These really only belong in one place, and that’s at weddings—not our Easter baskets.
13. SweeTARTS Chicks, Ducks and Bunnies
Source: SweeTARTS
While SweeTARTS are pretty good for those who don’t like chocolate, the combo of sweet and tart in this candy, much like the chocolate bunny, lacks oomph. Unlike some other contenders on our list—cough, cough, Reese’s Eggs—the festive shapes of these candies don’t enhance the tasting experience. So, if you want some SweetTARTS, just stick with the original roll.
12. Robin Eggs

But really, who eats Whoppers outside of a movie theater? They just really wanted to be involved in a holiday, so they picked Easter. We’re not feeling it.
11. Russell Stover Marshmallow Eggs

You see them as soon as you walk into the grocery store, but do you ever actually buy them? No, you go down to the main Easter candy display and get the good stuff. Or, if you’re anything like us, you get your Easter candy delivered. While the combination of the chocolate shell with the chewy marshmallow center is unique, it simply can’t compete with the other contenders.
10. Hershey’s Kisses Pastel Wrapped

While these aren’t bad enough to place dead last on our list, they also aren’t good enough to top our ranking of Easter candies. Really, Hershey’s Kisses are just changing their outfits for the holidays, and we see past it. Wearing red or green alone on Christmas doesn’t make you festive, so why would just wearing pastel colors count for Easter?
9. Brach’s Jelly Beans

Ah, the original Easter treat. There’s nothing like cracking open a plastic egg during the annual Easter egg hunt and watching as a few jellies tumble to the ground. You keep moving, though, because you know there’s plenty more where they came from.
8. Peeps
OK, so maybe you’re wondering why these aren’t last on our list. We think that Peeps get a lot of unnecessary hate, so we want to give them some love. These sugary marshmallow treats are an Easter must-have, and can be worked into a lot of different Easter recipes. Their versatility wins them big points with us.

7. Mini Versions of All the Candy
From Snickers and Twix to Butterfingers and M&Ms, the mini versions of our favorite classic treats just hit different when they come from the inside of an Easter egg.

6. Cadbury Mini Eggs

In keeping with our love for minis, these little guys aren’t as good as their bigger siblings—but mini Cadbury eggs are still pretty great. Sure, they’d be better if they had that classic creme in the middle, but the candy shell wrapped around creamy milk chocolate makes these a sweet delight in their own right.
5. Starburst Jellybeans
We think these chewy Easter candies are way better than traditional jelly beans. When you find these in your Easter basket, you definitely won’t be sharing them.

4. Cadbury Creme Eggs

When these hit the stores, you know it’s time to start preparing for Easter. These iconic treats are filled with delicious creme. Nothing brings more bliss than biting into the chocolate shell to find that gooey center.
3. Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs
There’s a higher PB-to-chocolate ratio on these bad boys, so of course, they’re superior to your average, run-of-the-mill, circular Reese’s. Case closed.
2. Cadbury Caramel Eggs

OK, you know how we said nothing was better than biting into a creme egg? Well, we lied—biting into a caramel-filled egg is better. Definitely better.
1. Reese’s Peanut Butter Giant Chocolate Bunny
Coming in at No. 1, this peanut butter-filled bunny is truly what dreams are made of. I mean, come on. This one-pound treat is just an enormous version of your favorite candy, so naturally, you’re bound to love it. In fact, we love it so much, we’ll deliver this legendary Easter treat right to you.
