Everything You Need to Know About CACTI Seltzer

Forget celebrity tequilas, Travis Scott is in Sicko Mode and has rolled out a spiked seltzer line: CACTI Seltzer. Here’s what you need to know.

April 29, 2021

From the rap world, to fashion lines, to a baby with Kylie Jenner, a partnership with FORTNITE and a meal named after him at McDonald’s, Travis Scott is no stranger to pop culture—or to just injecting himself into our day-to-day lives. Even if you don’t know his music, you’ve likely come across his name.

Now Scott is making his name known in the alcohol world, and just in time for summer. And no, this isn’t another celeb tequila brand—although it is flavored with agave. He’s off that Remy and onto spiked seltzers.

Yep, that’s right. La Flame has launched his own hard seltzer line—it ain’t no iced tea—called CACTI Seltzer, and it has been flying off shelves.

So what’s the deal with CACTI, and where can you get your hands on it? We’ve got the scoop and—spoiler alert—some cases to deliver to you.

What Is CACTI Seltzer?

Backed by Anheuser-Busch, CACTI Seltzer is rapper and “brand whisperer” Travis Scott’s hard seltzer brand. CACTI is made with 100% blue agave from Mexico and has a hefty ABV of 7%. As Scott would say, it’s LIT.

In its first week on the shelves, the Cactus Jack mastermind’s seltzer outperformed competitors’ launches. In just 12 hours, the online inventory of CACTI sold out, and retailers carrying the product reported being out within 24 hours.

CACTI Seltzer Flavors and Can Sizes

With only three flavors, Scott’s new seltzer line offers less variety than its competition, but as it gains traction, we expect to see more flavors roll out. The variety pack from CACTI features nine 12-ounce cans in pineapple, lime and strawberry flavors. You can also snag some single-serve cans of lime or pineapple flavors. These single-serve cans come in 16- and 25-ounce sizes.

CACTI Seltzer Nutritional Facts

A 12-ounce can of CACTI has 150 calories, 2 or 3 carbs depending on the flavor and less than 1g added sugar. Most competitors are about 90 to 110 calories, so for the calorie-conscious, this may not be your first choice. But with a higher ABV than other spiked seltzers, you likely won’t be reaching for as many CACTI Seltzers as you would with your go-to brand and flavor.
