As a result of the #GoBackGiveBack campaign and Gopuff’s matching commitment, the company will be donating $1 million to Boys & Girls Clubs of America

As part of our core values, Gopuff continually challenges itself to make the greatest positive impact on the communities we work and serve. With the long-term economic and societal impact of COVID-19 unknown, vulnerable communities need support more than ever to help young people to stay on the right path and build essential skills to contribute to the future workforce.

So, after launching the Health Care Support Initiative, we launched a partnership with Boys and Girls Clubs of America to raise funds for their COVID-19 Relief Fund which provides food, distance education and childcare for those whose caregivers are on the frontlines of the pandemic.

Gopuff launched the Go Back + Give Back initiative in partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America on April 23 a small act to support their immeasurable response in these unprecedented times. Our nation’s children are some of the most vulnerable members of our communities and we share the Clubs’ belief that all children deserve a great future—and we’re honored to do our part to support their mission.

The Go Back + Give Back initiative supported the Fund in two ways:

  1. Gopuff matched all individual donations to the Clubs’ COVID-19 Relief Fund. On #GivingTuesdayNow, Gopuff committed to a 3:1 donation, quadrupling the amount contributed to the Fund.

  2. Individuals were prompted to participate in Gopuff’s #GoBackGiveBack Challenge on Instagram, sharing a photo from their childhood and encouraging friends & followers to do the same, to spread awareness of the Boys & Girls Clubs’ important mission. For every photo submitted to the #GoBackGiveBack Challenge, Gopuff donated $5 to the Clubs and the COVID-19 Response Fund.

Over the course of two weeks, we saw donations pour in and tens of thousands share childhood photos in support of the Boys & Girls Clubs. Among the participants were Justin Bieber, Mario Lopez, Kirk Cousins, James Harden, Meek Mill, Tori Kelly and Alessia Cara.

As a result, today, we are proud to announce we met our fundraising goal and will be donating $1 million to the Clubs’ COVID-19 Relief Fund. THANK YOU to everyone who participated to spread awareness of the Fund and help raise money for our nation’s children.
