Gopuff Donates Thousands of Bags of Candy for Halloween

The Sweet Donation Supports Local Organizations in Chester, Penn. and Atlanta, Ga.

October 29, 2021

Gopuff is always looking for ways to uplift and support all the communities we operate in. In the spirit of the (spooky) season, Gopuff is proud to have donated thousands of bags of Halloween candy to local organizations in both Chester, Penn. and Atlanta, Ga.

In Chester, 10,000 bags of candy were donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chester for their Stepping with BGC event, and will be shared with the Chester Police Department for their Trunk or Treat event and the City of Chester for their Fall Fest. If you’re looking for something fun to do in and around Chester, be sure to check them out this weekend!

In Atlanta, Gopuff donated 5,000 pieces of candy to Treat Street, a trick-or-treating event hosted by Focused Community Strategies as a part of their South Atlanta Fall Festival. During this socially-distant neighborhood event, neighbors host games in their yards or driveways, and families meander through the community enjoying an assortment of activities, food, a DJ, and – of course – collecting candy! With Gopuff’s donation, the South Atlanta Fall Festival met its candy goal and can give sweet treats to families in the neighborhood. If you’re in the area, be sure to check it out. Sounds like fun!

Gopuff is always looking for ways to give back to the communities we operate in. This Halloween, we’re excited that we were able to contribute to these local organizations and make their festivities just a little bit sweeter.
