With a chill in the air and leaves changing, autumn is officially upon us. And with it, all the flavors that make fall so special like pumpkin, apple, cinnamon, and more! From seasonal drinks like beers and ciders to sweet treats like ice cream and milkshakes, Gopuff has something for everyone who wants to get a taste of fall. To celebrate the coming of autumn, we took a look at data from the past two months to see how Gopuff customers are getting into the spirit of the season!

With temperatures cooling down, what better way to warm your insides with a seasonal beer or cider? From pumpkin ale to hard apple cider, the top cities that are in the fall “spirit” were:

• Portland, OR

• Washington DC

• Seattle, WA

• Philadelphia, PA

Though there may be a chill in the air, that’s not going to stop Gopuff customers from indulging in one of their favorite products: ice cream. To keep it seasonal, we looked at the top metros that were ordering the ultimate fall-flavored ice cream: Ben & Jerry’s Pumpkin Cheesecake Pint. The top five metros that over-indexed on this fall-flavored treat were:

• Denver, CO

• Milwaukee, WI

• Jacksonville, FL

• Baltimore, MD

• Philadelphia, PA

With the holidays just around the corner, we looked into who was celebrating early with this classic brand: Martinelli’s Cider. With classic fall flavors like apple and cranberry, their sparkling cider bottles can make any day festive! The top five metros that over-indexed on Martinelli’s products like apple cider and various flavors of sparkling cider bottles were:

• Bridgeport, CT

• Morgantown, WV

• Detroit, MI

• Albany, NY

• Providence, RI

Gopuff Kitchens, a new way for Gopuff customers to get freshly made items such as hot or iced coffee, milkshakes, pizza, and more, has infused favorite fall flavors like pumpkin and maple into a variety of unique, seasonal coffees and milkshakes. From pumpkin pie milkshakes to hot salted maple latte’s, the top five metros that couldn’t resist were:

• Phoenix, AZ

• Philadelphia, PA

• Allentown, PA

• San Antonio, TX

• Portland, OR

We noticed that many of the metros that were over-indexing on fall-flavored products were in regions that can actually feel and see the seasons changing. And though many were in such regions, we did see some metros over-indexing on fall flavors even though they don’t experience the same change of seasons as different areas of the country.
