Gopuff donates 50,000 masks to hospitals and municipalities.

Last month, Gopuff announced a commitment of $1 Million in orders to hospital workers across the U.S. with its Health Care Support Initiative. The initiative has been incredibly well received by hospital employees working on the front lines of this crisis and Gopuff has since been developing new ways to give back. Now, we’re launching the next phase of this initiative: donating more than 50,000 KN95 masks.
Gopuff, which is continually supplying its field teams and driver partners with gloves, masks, sanitizer and protective gear, recognized the specific and critical need for masks in hospitals and municipalities across the country and decided to donate 50,000 KN95 masks to our hometown of Philadelphia and to Miami, where we are expanding our presence, and to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
“Hospital employees are risking their lives, working on the frontlines of this crisis to keep us all healthy. Additionally, essential city and government employees are working everyday to maintain our access to vital services and resources. We want to do whatever we can to help make their lives a little easier and, when possible, safer. We were fortunate enough to access tens of thousands of KN95 masks and immediately knew we would donate them to those who need them most. We hope this helps keep those working in our healthcare systems in our hometown of Philadelphia safe,” said Rafael Ilishayev and Yakir Gola, co-founders and co-CEOs of Gopuff.
Gopuff also recently partnered with Roc Nation to donate 200,000 meals to Feeding America.
