Today, September 29, is National Coffee Day! A day many of us love – a day for free coffee, fun deals (check out Gopuff’s deal below), and recognition of the bean that gives us so much joy.

• 19 of the top 20 most ordered coffee items on Gopuff are ready-to-drink products

• Despite a small increase on Sundays, coffee sales are relatively evenly distributed throughout the week on Gopuff — seems our customers are always looking for a coffee pick me up, with some taking advantage of our instant delivery before they head into the work week. 

• While we found our customers are purchasing ready-to-drink items throughout the week, our fresh coffee is most popular during the weekends, possibly where people are having a little more downtime to treat themselves.

Across the Country

When looking nationwide, we found that the top five coffee brands on Gopuff are:

• Starbucks

• Philadelphia’s La Colombe

• Coca-Cola*

• Monster Energy*

• Coffee-Mate

*Both Coca-Cola and Monster Energy have products with coffee in them, including Coca-Cola with Coffee and Monster Energy Java, both in assorted flavors.

With that, Starbucks ruled our top five ready-to-drink products, with its Vanilla Frappuccino in the number one spot, followed by:

• La Colombe Cold Brew Brazilian Medium Roast Coffee

• Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino

• Starbucks Doubleshot Vanilla Can

• Starbucks Caramel Frappuccino

Though not as popular as ready-to-drink products, Gopuff customers also are no strangers to home brew coffee products, such as grounds and beans. The top five home brew coffee products are:

Since January 2020, plant-based milk products have seen an average month-over-month increase in sales of 9%.
