Investments To Enhance The Delivery Partner Experience

Innovation and enhancements on the platform are essential to helping ensure we are providing the best experience for everyone via the app. 

Delivery partners tell us they choose to earn with Gopuff because it’s a bit different than other delivery platforms, and when polled, 7 out of 10 delivery partners said they were very satisfied or satisfied with delivering with Gopuff. 

But we always want to go further. So we have been listening closely to feedback from delivery partners, and using this to prioritize and drive enhancements in the Gopuff delivery partner experience.  And we are excited to share more about some of these enhancements today.

Offering Access To Affordable Healthcare Coverage

Today we announced a new partnership with Stride Health that will give delivery partners access to affordable, quality health insurance coverage if they need it. Through this partnership, delivery partners will be able to find the best health insurance plan for them and their families, at the lowest possible price, in just 10 minutes or less. 

Stride estimates that 4 out of 5 delivery partners will be eligible for health insurance costing less than $10 per month, and almost half may find quality coverage costing less than $1 per month. Delivery partners will also have access to affordable dental, vision, and life insurance. Here’s what you get with Stride:

• Health Insurance: Stride will search through all of the Affordable Care Act health insurance plans available and help delivery partners find the right plan for their needs. 

• Dental Insurance: Stride’s plans start at just $30 per month, come with 2 checkups per year and are accepted at over 300,000 locations. 

• Vision Insurance: Stride’s plans start at just $9 per month, cover $120 per year in eyewear, and are accepted at over 80,000 locations. 

• Life Insurance: Stride’s plans start at just $5 per month, have flexible cancellation terms and you don’t need to worry about any annoying phone calls.

More Earnings Transparency

Delivery partners have told us they would like a better understanding of their earnings and a more detailed summary highlighting incentives, commission rates, and their tips. Earlier this month, we launched an update to the delivery partner app designed around feedback from delivery partners. The earnings tab will now include a more detailed summary of earning activity, which will help add more transparency into weekly payouts – especially in cases where there are multiple incentives, locations, and commission rates.

Delivery partners will also be able to easily track their progress toward Weekly Rewards and will now include specific commission rates for orders completed, as well as the guaranteed earnings rates and the corresponding pre-arranged hours completed.
