AN ELITE WINE ESTATE IN THE ROLLING HILLSIDES OF ALEXANDER VALLEY. Lancaster Estate is dedicated to crafting wines that are estate grown, produced and bottled. Situated at the southern tip of Alexander Valley, near the confluence of the Knights Valley and Chalk Hill appellations, the estate includes vineyards planted to Bordeaux varieties, a state-of-the-art winery and caves dug into the hillside adjoining the winery. The estate crafts wines blended exclusively from classic Bordeaux varieties - Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Sauvignon Blanc – singularly identifiable as Lancaster Estate. • Founded in 1995 by Ted Simpkins; called “Lancaster Estate” to honor his family/birth name • Extremely distinct site, cooler-climate and varying soils=concentrated, and more refined fruit than broader Alexander Valley or Napa • Certified California Sustainable Vineyard & Winery • Limited wines of singular focus on Bordeaux varietals prized for intensity, balance, refined character, and strong sense of site • Estate wines are estate-grown, produced and bottled
