As a Gopuff Student Ambassador, University of Florida student Bella Scheiner spent the past semester building entrepreneurship skills, connecting with her community and gaining real-world marketing experience.
While Gopuff has over 100 Student Ambassadors at dozens of universities across the country, Bella, a junior at the University of Florida pursuing a dual degree in business administration and a master’s of science in entrepreneurship, quickly emerged as the top-performer. As a result and after referring nearly 300 new customers to Gopuff over the course of three months, Gopuff issued Bella an equity award, providing her with ownership in the business and establishing her as the campus lead for the spring semester.
Since becoming a Gopuff Student Ambassador in August of 2024, Bella embraced the creative freedom the role offered, crafting social posts, hosting tabling events, and organizing giveaways. She created engaging TikToks featuring Gopuff products, often involving her friends, who quickly became enthusiastic participants. Her Halloween “boo baskets” – Halloween-themed containers of sweets and treats that you gift to someone else – were a hit on campus, and her pumpkin banana bread recipe made with Gopuff ingredients became a seasonal favorite. One standout moment was tabling at UF’s bustling Turlington Plaza, where she drew crowds by handing out free sandwiches while promoting Gopuff’s services.
“Being part of the student ambassador program has taught me so much about marketing, networking, and leadership, but more than that, it’s pushed me to step out of my comfort zone,” said Bella Scheiner. “This program has helped me grow both personally and professionally, and I’ve gained skills I know I’ll carry with me into the real world after graduation.”
Founded by two Drexel University students in 2013, Gopuff has always been dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs and those who embody the values the company was founded upon. An involved student with a passion for entrepreneurship and community support, Bella embodies the Gopuff spirit.
On top of her studies, Bella is deeply involved in campus life at UF, serving on the executive boards of her sorority and student government, mentoring younger students, and helping bring renowned speakers to campus. Looking ahead, Bella hopes to work for a large corporation after graduation to build a strong foundation before pursuing her ultimate dream of starting her own business. With entrepreneurial parents as her inspiration, she’s confident this is the right path for her.
For students considering the program, Bella’s advice is simple: go for it. “What you put in is what you get out,” she says. “The incentives, like $15 per redemption and performance bonuses, are incredible, but the real value lies in the experience you gain. It’s the perfect way to develop professionally while having fun.”
Being a Gopuff Student Ambassador comes with substantial benefits. Ambassadors earn weekly paychecks for completing designated tasks, including distributing door hangers, posting to social media, sending group messages, and flyering. They also earn additional compensation per tabling event, receive Gopuff credits each week, and get bonuses for every new user who signs up with their code—an uncapped opportunity for unlimited earnings.
Applications for Gopuff’s ambassador program are open for select schools across the country in 2025! For students looking to get involved, please send an email to college@gopuff.com.
