For this release, Bushmills’ signature single malt whiskey was triple-distilled on October 31 of 1991, where it was then aged in hand-selected bourbon and sherry casks for 13 years and four months, before marrying and continuing its maturation in three “first fill” Madeira wine casks in February of 2005. Using only the finest Irish barley, our proprietary, traditional Irish copper pots and hand-selected casks for aging, this whiskey showcases Bushmills's unparalleled expertise as a single malt distillery. Both non-chill filtered and bottled at cask strength, the whiskey achieves exceptional depth of flavor.
