Don Ramón Joven Mezcal is a sublime expression of this category of liqueurs made by hand. Made from 100% agave salmiana from Zacatecas, Mexico, which has been matured for 8-10 years, this clear liqueur exemplifies the earthy smokiness of mezcal. When tasted it delights the palate with a stimulating but balanced aroma of herbs, flowers and fresh citrus with a subtle fruity finish produced by the agave. For every agave salmiana plant harvested, Casa Don Ramón plants two more plants in its place.
