Institution Ale Company was founded in 2013 by a father-and-sons team who run and operate the brewery. Our production brewery and tasting room is just over the hill northwest of Los Angeles and can be seen right off the 101 freeway in Camarillo. Our brewery includes a 15-barrel brewhouse and canning line, 20+ beers on tap, and a kitchen that bakes freshly made pizzas and soft pretzels. Our second location is on State Street in Santa Barbara, CA. Visit us at either location or try our beer on tap at select bars/restaurants throughout Ventura and Santa Barbara County. Quality and consistency are at the forefront of each batch as we strive to produce world-class, innovative takes on traditional styles. Over our past nine years, we’ve been honored to be recognized for numerous awards for our brewery, including medals at the Great American Beer Festival, World Beer Cup, and a 2017 recipient for California Small Business of the Year for our district.
