Knobel Tennessee Whiskey is named in honor of a man named Carl, an indispensable handyman who could fix or fabricate anything. Carl also inspired the TV series DIRTY JOBS created and hosted by MIKE Rowe, who dedicated the show to the hardworking men and women who make civilized life possible, people like Mike's grandfather, CARL KNOBEL.
The Rickhouse Edition is made from the Knobel Straight Tennessee Whiskey and immediately after distillation the whiskey is charcoal filtered, commonly known as the Lincoln County Process. It is then finished with French oak staves to produce a unique sip and bottled at 95 proof.
