Rooster Rojo Mezcal is handcrafted by Lopes Sosa Palenque, a small craft distillery in San Juan del Rio of Oaxaca in Mexico. Each bottle is signed by the Maestro Mezcalero, Rodolfo Lopez Juan, which confirms he has followed the correct production process. The dark bottle prevents the liquid from being affected by direct sunlight and ensures it's not visible to the "bad eye" before consumption - a traditional Oaxacan belief.
