From the same starting point as our American Oak Rye, we wanted to extend the flavor profile of our rye whiskey into something more. This soothing and fruity rye builds on the round flavor of the American oak barrel with an Apple Wood stave finish that imparts genuine bright apple notes & subtle sweetness. Traditional ryes are peppery, brash, or slightly abrasive. Our rye is subtle and when used in a cocktail, allows for a more elegant profile. Non-chill filtered for the finest flavor & aroma, proofed with our very own "hard-yet-sweet" mineral water from the legendary Rosendale limestone mines of Hudson Valley, NY. The pure limestone-filtered mineral content of the water coats the palate for a long, rich finish.
