This limited edition, Proprietary Batch of Woodford Reserve is bottled at 124.7 proof. FIVE SOURCES OF FLAVOR Every expression crafted by Woodford Reserve showcases at least one of the five sources of flavor. Those sources of flavor are water, grain, fermentation, distillation, and maturation. The Woodford Reserve Batch Proof expression is a way to celebrate the flavor nuances contributed by the batching of 100+ different barrel maturation profiles together prior to a final standard flavor adjustment and tell the unique Woodford Reserve story of Proprietary Batching. Batch Proof is crafted from Woodford Reserve barrels that are drawn from many different dates of production and matured in various warehouses and different floors within those warehouses. Batch Proof presents the complex range of sweet aromatics, fruit, spice, wood and grain characteristics that has become the Woodford Reserve trademark at its most original level. DISTILLER’S NOTES “Barrels drawn from the upper floors of our heat cycled warehouses routinely possess higher proof presentations due the more aggressive angel share process found there. This batch had more of these barrels in its composition, and therefore a higher batch proof presentation."
